      I have always been curious about what happens after you die. I do believe in God however sometimes I have a hard time believing. If God does not exist I wonder what happens when you pass. It's scary for me to think about. It's even worse knowing that I'll never get the answer until I die. Today was a short class so we worked on our blog.

      The best gift I ever received was an Xbox for my birthday last year. It was from my older brother. I always used his console so he decided he would get me one too. I use it every day now which is why it's the best gift I have received. Today in class we read chapters 6-7 of A Lesson Before Dying. I learned about dying with dignity. I will use this lesson to remember to always have self-respect.

           I can't stop thinking about what I am going to do once highschool is over. I haven't really decided on anything. I keep thinking that If I don't come to a solution soon and work towards it, by the time I graduate and find something I want to pursue, it'll be too late. I am leaning more towards attending college, but my GPA isn't doing well so I am doubtful I will get into a good college. I'm sure everything will work out though. Today in class we listened to "A Lesson Before Dying" chapters 2, 3, and 4. I learned about the importance of being well-educated and dying with dignity. I will use what I learned to become a better man.

         I've always tried copying whatever my older brother did. It's because I looked up to him. I copied his entire personality including bad traits. He wasn't attentive in class and regularly skipped school and I began to do the same. After an argument with my mom about my grades, my brother wanted to talk. He explained to me that he wanted what was best for me and that it was in my best interest to get everything together. In class today we worked on a vocabulary assignment. I learned new vocabulary words. It could possibly help in the future to improve my writing.

           A couple years ago my entire family went to my oldest sister's house for Thanksgiving. She lived there with her boyfriend at the time. It went well and I remember enjoying myself with all of my cousins. Just as the night was coming to an end, my sister said she and her boyfriend had an announcement to make. She informed everyone she was 2 months pregnant. For the most part, everyone was excited including me.
