A time when I had to rely on someone else.

     I once had a math test coming up and had barely studied. I didn't really understand the topic and I was falling behind. There wasn't much time left so I asked my older sister for help. She reluctantly agreed and walked me through the practice questions. After practicing for a while I finally understood how to do the problems on my own. I ended up passing the test and it was all thanks to her.

In class today we read chapters 14 and 15 of A Lesson Before Dying and answered some discussion questions regarding it.

The chapters taught me the importance of having people that support you.

My Holiday Break

      Over the break I spent a lot of time at home with my family. I didn't do much but I still enjoyed the time off.  In 2025 I want all A's and B's. This is because I want to improve my GPA. A time when I took a hiatus.

       I once took a hiatus from my sport. I played soccer and enjoyed it. But eventually, it became more of a task than a hobby for me. I had to constantly keep putting in effort to compete and was no longer enjoying playing. I couldn´t handle the competition so I took a hiatus. I came back to the sport a few months later with a new outlook on it. I no longer took it as a sport I was forced to play and be good at but instead just something I could do for fun or to get away. In class we copied some vocabulary words and did a worksheet on the new vocab.  I expanded my vocab today and learned new words that I can use on future writing assignments.

My Thoughts On Near Death Experiences

      Near-death experiences possibly suggest life after death. It's not just by sheer coincidence that people see visions and experience sensations close to death. I believe near-death experiences are glimpses beyond our lives and what we can see. Some people have reported seeing a light which could also be an indicator of an after-life. Others have seen loved ones whcih could mean that after death you are reunited with loved ones. Whatever happens after death im sure near-death experiences mean something.
